A Cyber Security Summer Camp for Girls From 9th-12th Grade (Free!)

August 1st-5th from 9:30am to 3:30pm

Have you ever wondered what these new technologies called Blockchain, Crypto, Bitcoin, Ethereum are all about? If you have, then this summer camp is for you. Come, join us for a week full of fun activities as we show you how to use “Crypto for Fun and Security”. You will work with and learn from CSU professors, students, and industry representatives who are experts in these areas.

Who: Girls in 9th-12th grade (including graduating 8th graders).

When: August 1 – 5, 2022 (Monday through Friday)

9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. each day

Where:  Computer Science Building (CSB) Room on the CSU campus []

Cost: $0. IT’S FREE!!!

Preparation: No prior programming experience is required. A very basic background in Python or another programming language is helpful.

Forms:  Please complete this form and bring it on the first day of camp. If the student is a minor (under 18 years of age), a parent must sign. Students will not be allowed to appear in video or photography without this signed release form.

1) Statement of purpose indicating why you will benefit from this experience.
2) A letter of recommendation from a teacher. Letters can be sent directly to iray@colostate.edu
